Happy First Birthday Lola!

Lola turned 1-year-old on the fourth of July! It is difficult to believe that she went from a one pound newborn who could fit in your hand to a 34 in tall, 135 pound dog in one year! We had a birthday celebration for Lola which included party hats, unwrapping new toys and treats and a special meal. Before showing you birthday party pictures, let's take a trip down memory lane.

They grow up SO DARN quick! Simon still thinks he's a pup and tries to jump up in the recliner with me but it doesn't really work out! :) Awesome job with the pictures! She is beautiful! Janis

The place is near the beach?

Nice picture and I like the dogs. They look well trained.

Yes, we live in Michigan which is a state surrounded by huge lakes as big as a sea! We are lucky enough to be near one that has a dog beach for us to take our dogs to play. Thanks so much for reading the blog and thanks for commenting on our blog. I checked out your blog as well and you have some great insight on there!

You are welcome.
During my bachelor degree, I have had my fair share of experience with the sand and the sea. My university was next to the South China Sea.
All university freshie also had to go thru a compulsory visit on a research island for 3 days.

Will drop by sometime later.
