Happy Birthday Rozalyn

Rozalyn turns one-year-old today! I can't believe we have already had her for almost a year, yet it seems like she has always been a part of our family. She is doing well and is weighing in at 125 lbs and is almost 34 inches tall at the shoulders. She probably won't get any taller, but will put on a few more pounds before she is done growing. We plan to have a little party for her tonight (if you didn't already know, our dogs are like our children....although my mom keeps telling me...wait until baby comes...the dogs will be dogs again). Anyway, Roz will get a special dinner treat and have some new chew toys and bones to unwrap. Here are some pictures of her over the last year:

Here are some pictures I took of both Roz and Lola this week. Roz is of course almost a year old and Lola is 8 1/2 months old.

I love the photos. It's amazing how they change in size during such a short time. Having miniature schnauzers, I'm not used to the size change.

As for your mom...our dogs are still our babies. Kids and Dogs need a different kind of love and dogs don't throw the tantrums kids do :-)
